With more than 20 years’ experience as founder and lead editor of What If Pictures, Deborah Liekkio is an award-winning editor whose career spans editing and collaborating on promos, social media campaigns, TV spots, featurettes and creative content for most of the major film studios.  Deborah has also been a long-time trusted creative partner with McCafferty and Company.

Deborah is a creative, thoughtful editor and storyteller that can take hours of media and craft it into a compelling edit.  

Her strong work ethic and true sense of personal responsibility and dedication to the client’s vision has left her with a loyal client base.

Deborah has a love of technology that enables her to keep up with the ever-changing industry and she has been involved in many distinct aspects of the post-production process, editing, designing, motion graphics, color grading, finishing and audio sweetening.

As a former drummer in an all-girl band, she brings her strong sense of rhythm to editing and music placement in all her work.
